THE JOY OF THE LORD IS MY STRENGTH!
One of the simplest and most common phrases from the bible. Just one of those things that you don't think to hard about because it's so common! But these words have been burned into my mind the last couple of weeks. God has certainly shown me this in Africa. I was feeling very discouraged at one point. Like it wouldn't have made any difference if I hadn't of gone to Africa. But then the Lord said to me, "Brooke, my beloved child! My joy will strengthen you, if you let it. You are doing my work here. I have chosen YOU." God is GOOD!
Thank you Lord for giving me a heart that loves your children!
